So a coworker talked about Fondita as "The best Chilaquiles I've ever had" so asked the wife out for a date. Oh boy was that a great decision. Salsa and chips dropped immediately, salsa was blended, and tasty. Ordered gravy to dip them into. Creamy, flavorful served pipping hot. My wife ordered the enchiladas, you get 3 in your order and can mix and match so she got 2 chicken, 1 cheese. She says it was delicious. The homemade flour tortillas on the side took it over the top for her. I ordered the Super burrito with carne asada. The meat was so on point I am pleased to say. Tender bits and crispy bits seasoned PERFECTLY. Comes with beans, rice, your choice of meat, sour cream and cheese. I absolutely loved my meal. It was longer than my hand (XXL gloves) and bigger around than my forearm. I'm not a small man and know how to eat, I couldn't finish my dinner. Service was excellent, not only our waitress but literally every server in the house took care of anything we needed or asked for. When we walked in, only one other table was seated but that changed quickly. A four top then a six top came in shorty after we did. Staff didn't ship a beat. They also served more than a few food delivery drivers. We wanted for nothing, I love great service and they delivered. The tables were clean, decor was simple and inviting. So the ultimate question, will we be going back? ABSOLUTELY YES! So many more menu items to try! Thanks to the staff and owners for such a pleasant experience, you will be seeing us again soon.

We found Fondita on Yelp. We thought we would try since we didn't know where to go to eat. We had family from out of town so we decided to try. The waitress set the tables together for 12 people. We sat and had water,salsa and chips right away plus menus. They were delicious. Everything was very fresh and tasty. In fact we went back next morning and ate again. Service was great. Very cute interior.
Local small business with homemade tortillas! Amazing food! The salsa they serve on table is delicious and fresh. 10/10. The chips taste like from a bag 6/10. The combination fajitas were so good! Came out sizzling hot. Full of flavor from the grilled vegetables. 11/10 better than delicious! Enchiladas (chicken) gravy is delicious! 9/10 lack of cheese so minus one point but still delicious! Crispy chicken taco excellent! 10/10. Rice is 7.5 out of ten. Good but not great. Beans 10/10 homemade flour tortillas are huge! Beyond delicious 100/10. Best I have ever had! There are several servers and the business is pretty small inside but they stayed consistently busy and seating remained full without turning guests away or having them wait for a table. The ambiance is traditional and resembles the culture. Parking is abundant. Overall this place is a hidden gem! I'm so glad I was able to try their food and will be going back again and again!
I been coming to this place with my family for the past almost a year And food was great and is just getting better and better with new items to their menu Service is outstanding, always friendly and prompt Ambience is welcoming and family friendly I truly recommend this place if you are craving some good authentic Mexican food , with lots of flavor I can't tell you what specific plate to order because everything I have get has an amazing taste Let's support mom & pops businesses
The food here is hands down the best! The cook is doing such a great job on the flavor of the food here because it never disappoints. Thank you! The ambience is great as well every time I go it's always packed with people! Quick service. 10/10
I went in today, for lunch, they were packed. I had the best enchilada & taco combo plate I've had in Stockton. It was delicious, service was great even thought there was only one waitress and everything was perfect.
Everything I've ordered has been amazing! Ordered on DoorDash for the first time last week. It was so good I went and picked up chips more gravy for a lil snacky snack later the same day lol. Today I ordered the wet burrito. As soon as I opened it I understood why there was some spillage in the bag. I'm so used to places being stingy, I ordered extra gravy just in case. NO NEED SO GOOD!
Homemade flour and corn tortillas! Eggs and bacon. Would like my eggs scrambled more before they are cooked but still good. Service is great. Have to try more here. Breakfast is so good here though. Can't beat homemade flour and corn tortillas
Today I took my Nina here for breakfast. I had Machaca and she had the nopales with eggs. Her husband, my Tío tried hers when he got home and really enjoyed it too. It really hit the spot. Next time I need to get there early to try their menudo. Also... Alondra is always super friendly and checks up on us and makes sure we have what we need refilled. Not food related.... But I kept telling her the Christmas tree she had up was one price that they have at the store and she was all noooo.... Lol she was right! I would have been irritated but she stays so friendly.
